Lead Vocals, Bodhran
Alton "Butch" Angus is an active collector of songs. He has a love for sean nos singing, sea shanties, rebel songs and the humorous side of the tradition. When not singing and drumming with Bloomsday, Butch is a psychologist with the Illinois Prisons.
Fiddle, Harp, Backing Vocals
Although most often seen playing the fiddle, we occasionally get to hear Chris's talents on the Celtic Harp. He is also a respected performer of Baroque and Medieval musics on a variety of instruments. Professionally Chris is a professor of languages at Illinois Wesleyan University.
Guitar, Bouzouki, Vocals
Dan brings to Bloomsday an impressive resume as a folk musician. He has played bluegrass and old time folk music across America and in Europe and is known to bring any variety of fretted instrument to a show. Apart from Bloomsday, Dan works with Illinois State University as a
professor of Social Work.
Flute, Whistles, Accordion, Mandolin, Vocals
Living in Bloomington with his wife and two boys, Kevin has an extensive and varied musical background. He is active as a Music Educator in the public schools and can often be seen running a workshop or leading a session. In addition to playing many instruments and running sound, Kevin is also the booking
agent for Bloomsday.

The emigration experience is the touchstone shared by all Americanethnic and folk traditions, and Bloomsday’s “Four Who Share the Room” aims to bring hearts and souls together in a celebration of that experience.
